Cable-Free Ultrasonic Concrete Tester | Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Tester

The RTUL 4620 is a next-generation wireless Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) meter developed by Roop Ultrasonix Ltd. for non-destructive concrete testing. Unlike conventional UPV systems that rely on long transducer cables, the RTUL 4620 uses advanced wireless RF synchronisation technology, enabling seamless communication between probes without physical connections. This cable-free design makes testing faster, more convenient, and easier to perform in real site conditions.

Its lightweight handheld design allows true one-person operation, helping engineers and inspectors carry out concrete testing efficiently with reduced setup time and improved mobility. The device is designed to evaluate concrete quality, uniformity, cracks, voids, and structural integrity without damaging the structure, making it ideal for bridges, buildings, tunnels, dams, and other infrastructure projects.

Built for demanding field environments, the RTUL 4620 delivers reliable measurements, easy handling, and improved flexibility during inspections. By eliminating cable-related limitations, it enhances productivity and simplifies concrete testing for modern construction and quality control applications.

What it does

The 4620 measures ultrasonic pulse velocity through concrete to assess compressive strength, detect cracks and voids, evaluate structural homogeneity, and determine elastic properties — without drilling or destructive sampling. Suitable for in-situ and precast concrete across construction, QC labs, R&D, and routine structural inspections.
